Our Favorite Spring Jackets

Shirt Jackets

One of the best options for a layered spring outfit is the shirt jacket.

A lighter alternative to heavier spring jackets that might prove a bit too warm or impractical, the unlined shirt jacket (as opposed to the flannel-lined cool-weather iteration) is perfect for every casual situation, both indoors and out.

A light-and-dark contrast between layers is ideal - pairing a dark olive shirt jacket with a white or light blue undershirt, or a light grey shirt jacket with a navy undershirt

Our shirt jackets also pair extremely well with henleys, long sleeve crew neck shirts and t-shirts.

Chore Coat

A workwear-inspired casual blazer alternative, the chore coat is another favorite medium weight outerwear option for spring.

Like the shirt jacket, the chore coat is an ideal choice in that it can be worn as easily outdoors and it can indoors. They serve as an ideal medium between more formal blazers and more casual spring outerwear options like Harrington jackets or pullover golf jackets.

A navy, brown or grey chore coat is an incredibly versatile wardrobe staple that will pair well with most every collared shirt in your closet, and they’ll look equally as good with dark wash denim as they will with chinos or lightweight wool suit trousers.
