Introducing Albini Shirting Fabrics
We’re thrilled to introduce the latest newcomer to our European shirting line—Albini.
Yes, Albini may be a new addition to the options available at Blank Label, but this heritage fabric mill has been around for close to 150 years. It was founded in 1876 in Bergamo, Italy, where it continues to operate today under the leadership of fifth-generation family members.
Albini has access to some of the world’s highest quality textiles, and combines nearly a century-and-a-half of experience with a dedication to research and innovation. They also enjoy control over every part of the fabric-making process; once raw materials have been sourced, they are spun, dyed, woven and finished into fabric at Albini’s state-of-the-art facility just north of Milan.
The sheer range of fabrics offered by Albini can be dizzying, but we’ve made it easy by sticking to some business classics like a white broad-woven stripe; a crisp light blue poplin; a versatile light blue double stripe; and a bright pink twill, all made from silky, two-ply cotton that ensures you will feel just as good as you look.
