Masks On

By now you may have heard that the CDC has advised all Americans to wear masks outside of their homes to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and protect the most at-risk populations from infection. 

There are good reasons for this. One way the virus spreads is through respiratory droplets— produced through sneezing, coughing, and plain old talking—which can cause infection by landing on the nose or mouth of people nearby. And because it’s possible to have the virus without feeling symptoms, you should wear a mask even if you’re feeling completely healthy to avoid passing it along to others.

In short, we need masks—and a lot of them. That’s why we worked urgently with our production partners to make three different kinds of reusable, non-medical face masks to suit different client needs:

• Our Standard Masks are made from the same fabrics used to make our shirts, and the color and pattern of each will vary from one mask to the next. The Standard Mask is made from three layers of cotton fabric, including a comfortable cotton jersey HEPA filter pouch, and comes complete with 25 replaceable filters. It’s also the largest mask we make, and able to accommodate a greater diversity of face shapes.

• Our three-layer Premium Masks are treated with a nano-tech coating that protects from airborne moisture. This more snugly fitting mask is available in three colors: navy, white and black. They can be purchased individually, or ordered in bulk with the option to include screen printing.

• Available only through our bulk screen print service, our Jersey Masks are made from extra-soft, machine washable cotton. They are available in seven colors including black, white, navy, grey, red, green and royal blue, and can be screen printed to include a company logo or message.
