Introducing Thomas Mason Shirting Fabrics

Since 1796, the name “Thomas Mason” has been synonymous with the highest-level of quality when it comes to shirting fabrics. In their more than 200 years of existence, Thomas Mason has provided shirts for the bespoke houses of Savile Row, WWI flying aces, and even members of the Royal Family. And now, as the latest addition to our European Shirting collection, Thomas Mason fabrics are available to the Blank Label customer, too.

Thomas Mason was founded in Lancashire, England, at the birth of the Industrial Revolution. Their early adoption of new manufacturing techniques soon established Thomas Mason as the premier fabric maker in the UK. During WWI, they created some of the first modern waterproof and fireproof fabrics for British fighter pilots, and later supplied fabric to Turnbull & Asser—the official shirtmakers of the Royal Family.

Thomas Mason fabrics are woven in Italy from long staple, two-ply cotton to ensure that each shirt will look beautiful from its first wear and only improve with age. The heritage mill has over 700 archival volumes to choose from, but we’ve curated a tight edit of office and special occasion-worthy staples, including a substantial white royal oxford, a versatile light blue micro-check, and a characterful blue glen check.
